Beautiful Mongolia Concert on 23 October at the University Main Building – free entry, register in advance

Update on October 19: start time changed and the organizer has extended the deadline for advance registration to October 23.

The Embassy of Mongolia in Sweden invites University of Helsinki students and other interested visitors to explore Mongolia’s rich musical and artistic traditions.

  • Date and time: 23 October 2026, 5.00 pm–8.00 pm
  • Venue: University of Helsinki Main Building (Fabianinkatu 33, 00170 Helsinki) 
  • Free entry, please register via Eventbrite or Microsoft Forms by 23 October (deadline extended)

The programme features traditional Mongolian music, the distinctive sounds of the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), long-song singing, traditional Mongolian vocal heritage, vibrant folk dance and opera.
