International Master's Programmes: Apply before 16 Jan 2026
The University of Helsinki offers over 30 Master’s Programmes with teaching in English. However, in many of these programmes, you can also complete studies partly or fully in Finnish and/or Swedish.
Applications are open for our International Master’s Programmes for studies starting in autumn 2026. The deadline to apply is 16 Jan 2026, 15:00.

- As a current or previous degree student at the University of Helsinki, pay attention to the following restrictions on admission before applying for a new right to complete a degree.
New: The new Master’s Programme in Technologies for Sustainable Use of Renewable Resources combines agricultural, food, and forest technology expertise with sustainability, innovations, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions. Visit the programme website for more information.
You can also apply to the Dual Master's Programme in Green Business until 16 Jan 2026, 15:00. In this joint programme, you study the first year at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, and the second year at the University of Helsinki.
