Welcome to Language Centre's Multilingual Workshop

Welcome to the Multilingual Workshop to meet new people, have fun and use your language skills! 

The University of Helsinki Language Centre is hosting the traditional Multilingual Workshop on Thursday 23rd April 2026 at 16:15 - 17:45, at the Language Centre room 310 (Fabianinkatu 26, 3rd floor). 

The theme of the workshop is studying. In this workshop, you can brush up and use your language skills, meet new people, and learn about cultures and languages from different perspectives. The group discussion languages are Chinese, English, Finnish, French, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Ukrainian and Russian. Students will host the language-specific group discussions. The auxiliary language will be English, so don't worry if you don't know much about the language you have chosen, basic knowledge is enough!

The workshop is open to all students and employees at the University of Helsinki. Sign up via the registration form here. Please inform us if you cannot make it to the event anymore.
